Cookie Policy di APChef

This document contains information about the technologies that allow this Application to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Owner to collect and store information, for example through the use of Cookies, or to use resources, for example by running a script, on the User’s device when the User interacts with this Application.

For simplicity, in this document such technologies are collectively referred to as “Trackers”, unless there is a reason to differentiate.

For example, although Cookies can be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of applications for mobile devices, since they are Trackers that require the presence of a browser. For this reason, within this document the term Cookies is used only to specifically indicate that particular type of Tracker.

Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may require the User’s consent. Where consent is given, it may be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions contained in this document.

This Application uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner, commonly referred to as “first-party” Trackers, and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties, commonly referred to as “third-party” Trackers. Unless otherwise specified within this document, such third parties have access to their respective Trackers.

The duration and expiration of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on what is set by the Owner or by each third-party provider. Some of them expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.

In addition to what is specified in the description of each category below, Users may obtain more detailed and updated information on duration, as well as any other relevant information, by consulting the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Owner.

How this Application uses Trackers

Necessary

This Application uses Cookies commonly referred to as “technical” Cookies or other similar Trackers to carry out activities strictly necessary to ensure the operation or delivery of the Service.

These Trackers do not require the User’s consent, as they are necessary for the correct functioning of the Application.

Measurement

This Application uses Trackers to measure traffic and analyse User behaviour, in order to understand how the website is used and improve the Service.

Trackers managed by third parties

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 is an analytics service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location from which this Application is accessed.

Google Analytics 4 allows the Owner to collect statistical information on the use of this Application, such as pages visited, session duration, interactions with the website, approximate geographical information, device and browser used.

Data collected: Usage Data; information about the device and browser; approximate geographical area; session statistics; Trackers; other types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.

Displaying content and resources from external platforms

This Application uses third-party services that allow content, fonts, icons or other resources to be displayed directly from the pages of the website. These services may collect Usage Data and use Trackers, even when the User does not directly interact with them.

Trackers managed by third parties

Google Fonts

Google Fonts is a typeface display service provided by Google LLC or Google Ireland Limited, depending on the location from which this Application is accessed, which allows this Application to integrate such content within its pages.

Data collected: Usage Data; IP address; various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.

Font Awesome

Font Awesome is an icon and font display service provided by Fonticons, Inc., which allows this Application to integrate icons and graphic content within its pages.

Data collected: Usage Data; IP address; various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.

Interaction with external platforms

This Application may include links or buttons that allow the User to interact with external platforms.

WhatsApp

This Application may include a link or icon that allows the User to contact the Owner via WhatsApp.

By clicking on the link, the User is redirected to WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta Platforms. The interaction takes place outside this Application and is subject to WhatsApp’s terms and privacy policy.

The simple loading of the page does not necessarily involve the activation of Trackers by WhatsApp, unless otherwise technically implemented. However, by clicking on the link, the User leaves this Application and interacts with a third-party service.

Data collected: phone number; profile name; message content; any data voluntarily provided by the User; Usage Data and other types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.

How to manage preferences and provide or withdraw consent on this Application

Where the use of Trackers is based on consent, the User may provide or withdraw such consent by setting or updating their preferences through the relevant privacy choices panel, where available on this Application.

With regard to third-party Trackers, Users may manage their preferences by visiting the relevant opt-out link, where available, by using the tools described in the third party’s privacy policy or by contacting the third party directly.

How to control or delete Cookies and similar technologies through browser settings

Users may use their browser settings to::

  • see which Cookies or other similar technologies have been set on the device;
  • block Cookies or similar technologies;
  • delete Cookies or similar technologies from the browser.

Browser settings, however, do not always allow granular control of consent by category.

Users may find information on how to manage Cookies in the most commonly used browsers by consulting the relevant official guides:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave
  • Opera

Users may also manage some Trackers for mobile applications by disabling them through the relevant device settings, such as mobile advertising settings or tracking settings in general.

Consequences of refusing the use of Trackers

Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of non-necessary Trackers.

However, please note that some Trackers allow this Application to provide Users with a better experience, analyse the operation of the website and improve the Service.

If the User decides to block the use of Trackers, some features or services may not be available or may not function properly.
